Installation of WordCruncher for the PC-SIG World of Utilities CD-ROM.
WordCruncher keeps track of itself by reading and writing to ``maintenance
files'' which take up about 22K. The instructions below assume you are
going to place these files in the PCSIGCD directory created when you
installed the CD-ROM.
1. Switch to your CD-ROM and type: CD\PCSIGENC [Enter]
2. Type: WCV CD=x:\PCSIGCD [Enter] (where x is the letter of your chosen
hard or floppy drive)
3. Press the Insert key
4. Type: y:\PCSIGENC [Enter key twice] (where y is the letter of
your CD player)
5. Press the Insert key
6. Type: y:\PCSIGENC [Enter key once] (where y is the letter of
your CD player)
7. Highlight WCVDOC [Enter key]
If you have installed the maintenance files on drive C you can now
start WordCruncher with the WordCruncher button within the CD-ROM's
HyperReader interface or from the DOS command line as described below.
To start WordCruncher from DOS go to the PCSIGENC directory on the CD
player and type WCV CD=x:\PCSIGCD (where x is your hard drive).
